Preparation

Substrate requirements
Clean, dust-free and capable of supporting a load.
Matt damp surfaces are permitted.

Application
-
Ready to use, straight from the container.
Apply several layers of the material on to the prepared substrate.
Dilute with water if necessary.
Add mineral mortar products to the mixing water if necessary.
When using as a primer under bituminous waterproofing materials (PMBCs), dilute with water in a mixing ratio of 1:10.
In case of sedimentation of the bitumen solid, stir the material with a suitable mixing tool.

When using liquid-applied materials, direct sunlight and/or wind can cause accelerated skin formation and associated blistering. This effect is amplified on surfaces with a large number of cavities.
Do not apply any further layers until the previous layer has hardened sufficiently.
Protect freshly coated surfaces from rain, direct sunlight, frost and condensation.
Protect dry sealant from mechanical damage and UV radiation.

Working tools / cleaning

Flat brush, slurry brush, suitable spraying equipment
Clean tools immediately after use with water.
Remove dried-on material using V 101 Thinner (0978).

Storage / shelf life

If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

Usage
-
Priming: at least 0.025 kg/m² (diluted 1:10 with water)
Protective coating: at least 0.25 kg/m² per coat
Additive: 30-50 kg/m³ mortar

The relevant test certificates must be observed when planning and carrying out work.

Disposal instructions

Larger quantities of leftover product should be disposed of in the original containers in accordance with the applicable regulations. Completely empty, clean containers should be recycled. Do not dispose of together with household waste. Do not allow to enter the sewage system. Do not empty into drains.
