As a natural raw material, wood is often chosen as a way to enhance the ambience of a garden. Due to the various influences at play, exterior wooden components should be treated with a wood stain for outdoor use or a wood oil. Regular maintenance is the key to getting many years of enjoyment out of your wooden terrace, decking or garden furniture. The maintenance intervals depend on the external influences and the level of wear on the surface. In order to extend maintenance intervals and minimise exposure to UV rays and moisture, consideration should be given to design-based wood protection in addition to the exterior wood stain. This means that the wood is optimally protected with a combination of design measures and wood protection stain.
