Fine wood finish for hardwoods
Hardwoods such as oak, meranti, mahogany or teak are particularly durable – but they can be a pricy option. In terms of stability and moisture absorption, hardwoods often perform better than softwoods. Thanks to their natural resistance, impregnation with biocidal wood preservatives is often not necessary. Nevertheless, design-based wood protection and care are important for longevity. Bare wood effect for windows and front doors
When it comes to light-coloured wood types such as oak, spruce or larch in particular, there is a growing trend towards ever more natural finishes, which has gained momentum in recent years for furniture and flooring. Wood-aluminium windows, windows, conservatories and front doors made of wood can be finished with our matching products. Elements not directly exposed to weathering can be finished with clear coatings that hardly emphasise the grain at all, given them a virtually bare appearance. Our natural colours are suitable for elements directly exposed to weathering. The cloth-matt finish and natural pigmentation are modelled on the respective wood types. The result: the most natural appearance possible and extra UV protection as well as resistance to hand cream and scratches.
Fine wood colours for softwoods
