Our Remmers story
Our founder Bernhard Remmers
started "getting it done" in 1949.
And we get it done to this day.
It all began in a draughty garage in Lower Saxony.
In post-war Germany, reconstruction was a major talking point. And Löningen was no exception. It was in this era that Bernhard Remmers, barely 30 years of age, founded his own company in his home town. He may have been low on resources, but he made up for it with drive and ideas. While he started with a relatively broad scope, he quickly came to specialise in construction and building protection products.
The thing that set us apart right from the start:
Before Bernhard Remmers did anything, he listened. He was responsive to his customers, cultivated personal contact with them and kept his word. Another building block of Remmers’ continued success: he was always one thought and one step ahead of his time. He not only recognised opportunities and the demands of the market, he also tackled them and implemented them consistently and with foresight – in the form of innovative products and services or even completely new business areas.
