        Wood moisture content: 8-12%

        MDF boards: bulk density >= 700 kg/m³

Use a suitable glue category depending on the area of application (fire protection, moisture protection)

      • Preparations

Wash off greasy or resin-rich woods/substrates with WV-891 or V-890. Use UN-894 indoors on the construction site. Ensure good ventilation for solvents.

        Remove resin galls.

        Sand panels using P 180 - 320 grit.

        Sand wood using P 100 - 180 grit.

    • Application
      • Application temperature: min. 18 °C max. 25 °C
      • Airless/airmix spraying / Flow cup gun
      • Stir well.

        Spray.

Flow cup gun: nozzle size: 2.0 - 2.5 mm; atomiser air pressure: 2.0 - 3.0 bar.

        Airmix spraying: nozzle size: 0.28 - 0.33 mm; material pressure: 80 - 100 bar; atomiser air pressure: 1.2 - 2 bar.

        Airless spraying: nozzle size: 0.28 - 0.33 mm; material pressure: 80 - 120 bar.

Once dry, carry out intermediate sanding with P 240-320.

        Repeat the process if necessary.

Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

    • Application instructions
      • Drying time: can be worked over after 1.5 h
      • Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

Before coating technically modified woods and wood-based materials, apply the product to a trial surface and conduct a suitability test on the desired area of use.

The time period during which the product can be overcoated without the need for intermediate sanding is based on the information under "Overcoating" (drying time). Once this time period has been exceeded, the surface must be sanded and dusted off immediately prior to further coats.

Use breathable materials when packing the coated wood building elements.

      • Drying

Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.

      • Thinning

        Dilute with V-890, V-897, V-893 if necessary

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Airless/airmix spraying / Flow cup gun
      • Airless/airmix spraying equipment, flow cup gun

Ensure that any residue from cleaning is disposed of correctly.

Clean tools using WV-891 Brush Wash or V-890 Thinner.
