Pressure waterproofing system solutions without complex excavation work

Very difficult-to-access areas can be waterproofed reliably and permanently using injection technology. It doesn’t matter here whether the cellar is bricked or made of concrete, Remmers always provides a suitable solution.

Gel injections

Gel injections are always used when the cellar cannot be excavated due to surround buildings or other obstacles (e.g. pipes). In principle, waterproofing injections can be worked into a structural component and/or into the ground as independent waterproofing for all water loads.

The injection agent is pressed into the wall or the surrounding screed from inside. Here, the injection Gel 3K plus by Remmers, as a hydrophilic acrylate-methacylate-based injection gel, ensures permanent waterproofing that also improves the load-bearing properties, the strength and stability.

Supporting measures, such as injections against capillary rising moisture, controlled ventilation or drying measures, must be selected specifically for the specific object. To this end, there are different WTA information sheets available with extensive information about implementation. In the case of injections against ‘...hydrostatic water pressure’, please refer to the WTA information sheet 5-20-09/D ‘Gel injections’ for water pressure loads comprising seepage water / pressing water.

1 Set boreholes

Set boreholes according to the specifications of the WTA information sheet 5-20-09/D in an appropriate borehole grid.

2 Set packers

Insert and affix the injection packer in the borehole.

3 Haze injection

Inject ready-mix component with suitable 2-components pumps into the ground, repeat if necessary.

4 Filling the boreholes

Remove the packer once the haze has hardened. Close boreholes with suitable mortar.

5 Restoration render (optional)

Apply a suitable Remmers restoration render system.

Seal from the inside

Cracks or hollow spaces in cellars are often subject to water inrushes. This not only impacts on use but also causes massive damage to the building substance. In addition to detailed findings about the cause, type and properties of the cracks, it is also the selection of suitable injection material that is decisive for successful restoration to counter this damage correctly and permanently. Remmers Rapid Hardener is used to grout aquiferous cracks and seepage areas. After grouting, the cracks and seepage areas are filled with Injection Resin PUR / 2K PUR. The product is used in concrete or brickwork and water proofing on construction joints in civil and structural engineering projects. Thanks to the extraordinary combination of flexibility and adhesion, cracks are permanently, reliably and flexibly waterproofed.

1 Set boreholes

Drill offset boreholes on both sides along the crack line at an angle of 45°C.

2 Set packers

Blow out the drilling dust and insert the injection packer into the borehole and affix.

3 Crack injection

Inject ready-mix injection resin using suitable injection equipment.

4 Sealing boreholes

Remove/strike off the packers after the injection resin has cured. Close the boreholes with WP DS Levell.
