Substrate requirements
Stable, dry, clean, dust-free and free of oil, grease and release agents

Preparations
Remove projecting seams and mortar remains.
Roughen non-mineral and pore-free substrates.
Create a contact layer of the waterproofing material and leave to dry.
Refer to the current Technical Data Sheet for detailed information on the single products.

Application

Fix the joint tape to the prepared substrate with the self-adhesive strip.
Apply waterproofing material as contact layer, work in Water Stop over the entire surface.
In corner areas, Interior Corner VF and Exterior Corner VF are placed so that they overlap the water stop.
In areas where pipes pass through walls, Wall Gasket VF or a shaped piece made of Water Stop VF 500 can be used.
Depending on the waterproofing product used, the 2nd and 3rd layer of waterproofing is applied over the entire surface.

Current regulations and legal requirements must be taken into account and deviations from these must be agreed separately.
The relevant test certificates must be observed when planning and carrying out work.
Always set up a trial area/trial areas first.
Clean connection areas such as the waterproofing flange of the floor drain/drainage channel/drainage spout for the professional connection of the waterproofing, roughen if necessary and prepare with a suitable epoxy resin primer with quartz sand blinding.
