    Field of application

    • Asbestos-free fibre-cement panels (for roofs and facades)
    • Pitched roofs
    • Concrete roofing tiles
    • Absorbent clay roofing tiles

    Properties

    • Highly water-repelling w ≤ 0.1 kg/(m² ∙ h0.5)
    • Water vapour diffusion capable
    • Fibre-binding
    • Weather resistant
    • Colour stable
    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

Dry, clean, free of dust and cracks and capable of supporting a load.

Free of salts known to be damaging to building materials.

      • Preparations

Remove any old coatings not capable of supporting a load, making sure not to leave any residue.

Prime old weathered fibre cement substrates (free of asbestos cement) with Primer Hydro HF.

    • Application
      • Stir well.

Coat the surface using a suitable tool.

Apply the material in 2 coats, depending on the condition of the substrate.

Wait at least 8 hours between coats.

    • Application instructions
      • Take appropriate measures to protect adjacent building elements and materials that should not come into contact with the product.

When coating continuous surfaces, only use materials with the same batch number.

Intensive colours, such as yellow, red, etc. may have a lower hiding power due to their pigments. Apply an additional coat if required.

Protect freshly treated surfaces from driving rain, wind, sunlight and condensation.

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Paintbrush, flat brush, lamb's wool roller, airless spraying equipment

      • Clean tools, equipment and any splashed material immediately with water while still fresh.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

    • Usage
      • Approx. 0.2 l/m² per coat

      • 2 coats required.

Application rates may vary depending on the condition of the surface.

Apply to a large enough trial area to determine the precise amount required.

    • General information
      • Current regulations and legal requirements must be taken into account and deviations from these must be agreed separately.

Always set up a trial area/trial areas first.

Minimum inclination of the application surface 10°.

    • Disposal instructions
      • Larger product residues must be disposed of in the original packaging in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Do not pour liquid coating or residues down the drain, even when cleaning tools. Must not be disposed of with household waste. Completely empty packaging must be recycled.
