    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

        The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease and loose substances, and prepared in the correct manner.

        Wood moisture content: 8-12%

      • Preparations

        Thoroughly remove any dirt, grease and non-adhering old coatings.

        Thoroughly sand any old coatings that are still intact.

        Wash off greasy and resin-rich wood with thinner and brush cleaner.

        Sand using a sandpaper grit of P150-180.

    • Application
      • Application temperature: min. 5 °C max. 25 °C
      • Stir before use
      • By brush/By roller/Flow cup gun
      • Stir well before using.

        Apply with a brush, roller or by spraying.

        Flow cup gun: nozzle size: 1.3 - 1.8 mm, atomiser air pressure: 1.5 - 2.5 bar.

        Carry out light intermediate sanding with a foam sanding pad or sandpaper with a grit of P240-320.

        Avoid sanding through.

        Apply a second coat once the first has dried.

        Apply in thin coats only.

        Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

    • Application instructions
      • Drying time: can be worked over after 12 h
      • Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

        Before coating technically modified woods and wood-based materials, apply the product to a trial surface and conduct a suitability test on the desired area of use.

        Dark colours must be primed very carefully so as to achieve a uniform colouring.

        Once colouring primer has been applied to stairs and parquet, a sealant must be added using Stair and Parquet Varnish or the surface should be finished using Hard Wax Oil or Hard Wax Oil [eco].

        Risk of spontaneous ignition (DGUV Information 209-046).
        Do not use in the same workplace as NC-based varnishes or stains. Collect contaminated textiles (e.g. cleaning cloths, work clothing, dust bags) in fireproof waste containers and dispose of in a fireproof manner (under water).

      • Drying

        Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.

        Drying is dependent on the type of wood and the absorbency of the substrate.

      • Thinning

        Ready to use.
        For use as a primer: dilute with approx. 25% water

        Clean tools immediately after use with water and detergent.

        Ensure that any residue from cleaning is disposed of correctly.

      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Shelf-life 24 months
      • If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 24 months.

        Use the contents of open containers as quickly as possible.

      • Approx. 50 ml - 100 ml / m² per layer applied
      • 50 - 100 ml/m² per coat

      • DIN EN 71-3 "Migration of certain elements":

        This product complies with the limits for the migration of heavy metals to children's toys according to DIN EN 71-3 and thus fulfils one of several further requirements for the safety of children's toys according to the EU "Toy Directive" (2009/48/EC).

    • Disposal instructions
      • Larger quantities of leftover product should be disposed of in the original containers in accordance with the applicable regulations. Completely empty, clean containers should be recycled. Do not dispose of together with household waste. Do not allow to enter the sewage system. Do not empty into drains.
