        Absorbent

      • Preparations

        Pre-wet the substrate.

Before starting work, use a suitable mixer to homogenise the material.

        Thinning

Material can be diluted with up to 10% water.

    • Application
      • Application temperature: min. 8 °C max. 25 °C
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife
      • Using a suitable tool, apply the product as a contact layer.

        Min. 2 coats required.

Wait at least 12 hours between coats.

Smooth the surface using a suitable tool.

        Finish the surface once set.

        Can be sanded once set.

To reduce chalking, coated surfaces should be subsequently wetted, several times if necessary (carbonation acceleration).

    • Application instructions
      • Check the absorbency of the substrate on a sufficiently large test area.

To prevent a crust forming, work wet-on-wet in a single operation.

When coating continuous surfaces, only use materials with the same batch number.

The final colour after drying and hardening depends on the absorptive capacity of the substrate, the ambient conditions, processing and subsequent treatment.

Substrates with moisture penetrating from the rear can cause discolouration.

Take appropriate measures to protect adjacent building elements and materials that should not come into contact with the product.

To reduce chalking, coated surfaces should be subsequently wetted several times.

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife
      • Clean tools, equipment and any splashed material immediately with water while still fresh.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Shelf-life 12 months
      • If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

    • General information
      • Always set up a trial area/trial areas first.

The characteristic data of the product were calculated under laboratory conditions at 20°C and 65% relative humidity.

Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

Current regulations and legal requirements must be taken into account and deviations from these must be agreed separately.

The relevant test certificates must be observed when planning and carrying out work.

    • Disposal instructions
      • Larger quantities of leftover product should be disposed of in the original containers in accordance with the applicable regulations. Completely empty, clean containers should be recycled. Do not dispose of together with household waste. Do not allow to enter the sewage system. Do not empty into drains.
