Prevention against mould growth?! We get it done!

Mould contamination is one of the most common health risks in living and working environments. It is often caused by excessive humidity, low surface temperatures or moisture in building components. Wall areas with thermal bridges are particularly at risk, as this is where surface temperatures are lowest.

To prevent mould growth, minimum hygienic thermal insulation is crucial: the surface temperature should be at least 12.6 °C and the relative humidity on the wall should not exceed 70%. Common reasons for increased humidity are incorrect or insufficient ventilation, undersized ventilation options or high moisture output in the room.

For rooms at risk of mould without component moisture penetration, a special interior wall paint is an effective protective measure. It ensures that the walls remain dry and the indoor climate is kept healthy.

Color SA plus – intelligent interior wall paint with protective effect

Color SA plus is a high-quality, low-emission interior wall paint with innovative micro silver technology. It offers broad antimicrobial protection – from mould to resistant germs. When a microorganism comes into contact with the coated surface, the silver particles block vital metabolic processes, causing the cells to die.

The paint provides effective protection against mould growth without polluting the indoor air. The silver active ingredient is firmly bound in the paint, remains permanently active and is not consumed. This creates safe, effective and long-lasting hygienic protection for rooms at risk of mould – without any health risks for users.
