      • Substrate requirements

The substrate must be firm, dimensionally stable, capable of bearing loads and free of loose constituents, dust, oil, grease, rubber marks and other substances that could interfere with adhesion.

Only for use on suitable sealed sloping screed with corresponding specialist precision solutions that have been coated with the Remmers Water Vapour Diffusion-Open Sealant System.

      • Preparations

Apply the sealant within 48 hours. In the case of longer waiting times, sand the surface treated in the previous coat and remove dust.

    • General information
      • Unless otherwise specified, all of the values and application rates given above have been determined under laboratory conditions (20 °C) using standard colours. Slight deviations from these values may arise if the product is worked with on site.

Not suitable for interior spaces! Strong odour!

Use sufficiently experienced personnel to ensure that surfaces are as even as possible.

If the processing time is exceeded, roller marks or differences in degree of gloss and colour may occur.

When coating continuous surfaces, only use materials with the same batch number as slight differences in colour, gloss and texture may occur.

In case of repairs on the surface or working up to existing surfaces, there will be a visible transition in appearance and texture.

Uneven application and large temperature differences on the surface may lead to a non-uniform surface appearance due to differences in the degree of gloss.

Surface water must be allowed to run off. Standing water and pool formation lead to material detachment and damage.

Mechanical damage must be repaired immediately in order to prevent subsequent damage due to moisture creep.

Abrasive mechanical loads leave traces of wear.

Organic substances such as flower petals, ketchup and mustard may cause discolouration.

Flying sparks and cigarette butts may cause burn marks.
