Free of salts known to be damaging to building materials.

        Absorbent

      • Preparations

        Pre-wet the substrate.

Use Historic Lime Wash to level out any textural unevenness.

    • Application
      • Application temperature: min. 5 °C max. 25 °C
      • By brush / By roller
      • Application requirements

Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +5 °C to max. +25 °C

      • Stir well and apply quickly using a brush or roller.

        2 coats required.

Observe a waiting time of at least 24 hours between coats.

To reduce chalking, coated surfaces should be subsequently wetted several times.

    • Application instructions
      • Check the absorbency of the substrate on a sufficiently large test area.

To prevent a crust forming, work wet-on-wet in a single operation.

When coating continuous surfaces, only use materials with the same batch number.

The final colour after drying and hardening depends on the absorptive capacity of the substrate, the ambient conditions, processing and subsequent treatment.

Substrates with moisture penetrating from the rear can cause discolouration.

Take appropriate measures to protect adjacent building elements and materials that should not come into contact with the product.

      • Drying

        Touch-dry: 4 to 6 hours
        Recoatable: 24 hours

The characteristic data of the product were calculated under laboratory conditions at 20°C and 65% relative humidity.

Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

      • Thinning

The material can be diluted with up to 10% water.

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • By brush / By roller
      • Brush, flat brush, lambskin roller

      • Clean tools, equipment and any splashed material immediately with water while still fresh.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Shelf-life 12 months
      • If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

    • Usage
      • Approx.0.2 - 0.25 kg / m² per layer applied
      • Approx. 0.2 - 0.25 kg/m² per coat

      • 2 coats required.

Application rates may vary depending on the condition of the surface.

Apply to a large enough trial area to determine the precise amount required.

    • General information
