    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

        The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease and loose substances, and prepared in the correct manner.

        Wood moisture content: 8-12%

      • Preparations

        Brush the pores.

        Create texture on softwoods.

        If PUR or Aqua coatings are being used on top of a coloured substrate, then stain with Aqua KB-004, Aqua BB-007 or Aqua PB-006. After this step, prime the entire surface thoroughly using the desired coating system.

        If using HWS-112 as a sealant on top of a coloured substrate, stain using OB-008, then prime with HWS-112.

      • Application temperature: min. 18 °C max. 25 °C
      • Stir before use
      • Non-fuzzing cotton cloth

      • Application requirements

        Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +18 °C to max. +25 °C.

      • Stir well.

        Apply with a brush, roller or by spraying.

        Flow cup gun: nozzle size: 2.0 - 2.5 mm; atomiser air pressure: 2.0 - 3.0 bar.

        Smooth or wipe on.

        Once dry, remove excess by sanding with P240-320 grit.

        Seal with a suitable system product.

        Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

      • Drying time: can be worked over after 1 h
      • Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

      • Drying

        Ready for next coat: after approx. 1 hour

        Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.

        Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

      • Thinning

      • Flow cup gun, lint-free cotton cloth, flexible scraper, sealant roller with microfibre covering, acrylic brush.

      • Clean tools with water or Aqua RK-898 Cleaning Concentrate immediately after use.

        Ensure that any residue from cleaning is disposed of correctly.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Shelf-life 12 months
      • If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 12 months.

    • Usage
      • Approx. 60 ml - 120 ml / m² per layer applied
      • Approx. 60 - 120 ml/m² depending on the desired effect

    • Disposal instructions
      • Larger quantities of leftover product should be disposed of in the original containers in accordance with the applicable regulations. Completely empty, clean containers should be recycled. Do not dispose of together with household waste. Do not allow to enter the sewage system. Do not empty into drains.
