    Properties

    • Water-based
    • Approved for system use with Adolit BSS1
    • Cloth matt
    • Preservation of the wood structure
    • Less discolouration due to water-soluble substances in the wood
    • Quick drying: 2 coats can be applied in one day
    • Water-based: does not give off any unpleasant odours and tools can be cleaned with water
    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease and loose substances, and prepared in the correct manner.

Wood building elements with limited or no dimensional stability: wood moisture content max. 18%

      • Preparations

Use a brush to remove excess salt residues.

    • Application
      • Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +15 °C to max. +25 °C
      • Stir before use
      • Board coating machine/ brushing machine
      • Airless/airmix spraying / Flow cup gun / By brush
      • Application requirements

Temperature of the material, air and substrate: +15 °C to +25 °C.

      • Stir well, including during application or after a break in work.

        Application by brush, spraying

Flow cup gun: nozzle size: 2.0 - 2.5 mm; atomiser air pressure: 2.0 - 3.0 bar.

        Airless spraying: nozzle size: 0.28 - 0.33 mm / 0.011 - 0.013 in, material pressure: 80 - 100 bar (use yellow pistol filter).

        Airmix spraying: nozzle size: 0.28 - 0.33 mm / 0.011 - 0.013 in, material pressure: 70 - 90 bar, atomiser air pressure: 1 - 2 bar.

After drying and, if necessary, intermediate sanding (P 280 - 320), apply a second coat.

Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

    • Application instructions
      • Drying time: can be worked over after 4 h
      • Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

The treated components must be protected against rain and moisture (enclosed spaces, covered structures etc.) and must not be exposed to weathering.

      • Drying

Can be overcoated: after approx. 4 hours

Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.

Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

      • Thinning

        Ready to use

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Board coating machine/ brushing machine
      • Airless/airmix spraying / Flow cup gun / By brush
      • Brush, spraying equipment, board coating machine

      • Clean tools with water or Aqua RK-898 Cleaning Concentrate immediately after use.

Ensure that any residue from cleaning is disposed of correctly.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Shelf-life 12 months

    • General information
      • Packing:

When packing multiple wood components together, use an intermediate layer of foamed PE film to separate them from one another. Do not pull the packing tape on the wood packets too tight.

        Care and maintenance:

The coating system must always be kept in good condition. Any damage must be immediately reworked or repaired using this product.

Indirect weathering can lead to condensation, which can cause white efflorescence on the wood surface. This does not impair the effectiveness.

Please refer to the relevant test reports/certificates and the Technical Data Sheet for information on certified products and configurations.
