A floor should be able to withstand rising damp and also heavy loads. Water emulsifying epoxy resins from Remmers are economic and ecologically sound solutions for the problem, and have been used successfully for decades to coat floors that are in direct contact with the ground.

Coating systems - the perfect solution for every floor

After in-depth analysis of the existing substrate, a suitable coating system can be selected and installed. The systems include coatings from simple seal coats through to blinded coatings and conductive systems. Additional details such as plinths etc. require specific system designs.

Sealers have a protective effect against light to medium loads, and offer an economical option for a layer thickness of up to 0.5 mm.

Flow coats can compensate smaller areas of unevenness on the subsurface. The material is distributed evenly and flows on to create a smooth surface. A layer of a thickness of up to 3.0 mm. Depending on the system, an anchor saw cut may be required according to the information in the technical information sheet.

  • Self-levelling
  • Pigmented
  • Medium mechanical and chemical resistance
  • Smooths out smaller areas of roughness

Application:

  • Areas without sliding agents that need to be non-slip
  • Areas with dynamic loads

A blinded coating comprises a flowable base coat into which the blinding materials are added in full (e.g. quartz sand). After setting, the unbound excess is removed and a topcoat is applied. The layer thicknesses may vary between 1.5 and 9.0 mm. Depending on the system, an anchor saw cut may be required according to the information in the technical data sheet.

  • High mechanical, thermal load capacity, depending on the system

The mortar floor has the lowest amount of binding agents and a finely matched filling material grading curve. The mortar mix should be applied with a squeegee and then smoothed out with a trowel. The layer thickness is at least 4.0 mm. Depending on the system, an anchor saw cut may be required according to the information in the technical data sheet.

  • Very heavy mechanical laod
  • Compensates larger areas of unevenness
  • Slip-resistant
  • Can also be installed on ramps

Application:

  • Areas where slip resistance is required
